And so we begin....

There is an overall feeling in our nation of "not belonging". Especially in the Phoenix area, where so many people have moved from somewhere else. This feeling is made more real by the prevalent act of "coccooning", most Phoenicians drive into their garage at the end of the day and don't come out until they drive back out the next morning. Very few people know their neighbors' names, let alone chat with them in the front yard.

But I feel the tide is changing, people are starting to crave community and connectivity, especially around families. I have found that more and more, my clients are trying to not only find a beautiful home but also a beautiful neighborhood. A place where they can give of themselves and receive of others.

These neighborhoods can be hard to find in the Phoenix area, but not impossible, especially with the help of you, my readers. And on this blog I will tell you where they are and what makes them special. I welcome your suggestions and comments.
